Shoulder Replacement
In shoulder replacement surgery, the damaged parts of the shoulder are removed and replaced with an artificial component, called a prosthesis. The specific type of shoulder replacement performed will depend on the cause and extent of your shoulder damage. Types of shoulder replacement include a traditional shoulder replacement, a reverse total shoulder replacement, and a partial shoulder replacement.
